Finnshui Farm Siirtola

Siirtola is the one and the only original Finnshui farm in Finland. Finnshui is the Finnish answer to Fengshui: It means locality, enjoyable simple work, recycling and respect for nature. Finnshui is the Finnish version of slow movement and downshifting. Here you can take time to learn to enjoy the simple things in life, things that really do count.

You can take your time feasting outdoors on a variety of fresh berries. Remember that every berry is a piece of art with its shape and colour.

The retrit of silent swamps
Come with us on a retreat into the Finnish silence in the surrounding woods and swamps. How does it feel to be a whole day or two without speaking or mobile phones?

Zen and the art of splitting firewood
Collect your own firewood slowly, without hurry. Then use the wood to make a piece of art back in our farm yard.

Finnshui people are people swimming against the main stream in the main stream. Finnshui swimmers try with their movements to get the main stream to move little by little to find softer and
more ecological values. Our goal includes the vision that our children deserve better futures, where the nature and people are not just instruments but they are subjects. We are so happy to discuss these
