Arola Farm is located near the Russian border and Martinselkonen Nature Reserve. Hossa, the 40th nationalpark of Finland is 45 km from Arola. They organize guided bear watching tours from May till August. You can watch and photograph the life of the wild bears from the safety and comfort of purpose-built log cabins. They are equipped with seats, beds and WC. In addition to bears you might also see white-tailed eagles and elks.

Nearby Hossa Nationalpark offer great possibilities for hiking, canoeing, skiing and fishing. For fishermen River Karttimojoki is also worth a visit.

The farm is famous for traditional country food supplied by their kitchen garden, and the surrounding countryside and forests. The farm also has a fully equipped two bedroomed cottage Hevonkuusi by River Taivaljoki. The cottage is perfect for a longer holiday. In Arovilla there are two semi-detached apartments, both apartments have their own bathing facilities, sauna and a communal living area.
